As we manage the complexities of our everyday lives it is essential to hold true to who you are and what your goals are. In a world that is constantly bombarding us with information and sensory overload this is easy to lose site of. In fact, it is likely that the majority of us struggle to find purpose and question if we are truly doing the work that we were meant to do. We may ask ourselves, “What is my vision?” or “Why am I here?” more times than we'd like to admit. When faced with this confusion we are often left with two paths…one more helpful and one most harmful. The harmful path tricks you into thinking there is nothing more you can do and that there is no way to achieve your goal. It makes you question your choices and places blame on the situation you are in. The helpful, although modest and sometimes more difficult to believe, provides a slight glimpse of optimism in realization. It nudges you to remember the strength that you have and it's untapped potential. It is a hand that holds and pulls you up from the muck. This path is often harder to follow as it does not provide immediate tangible rewards. Your efforts are frequently reinforced in ways that are not always easy to see or feel. Nonetheless, they are present and ready for you to receive. They are ready for you to build upon and create a momentum that nobody can stop. This path requires effort. Effort everyday in every way to accomplish your dreams. Do not be tricked and let the harmful path lead you astray. Do not let yesterday be the best thing that you have. For I, I'm trying everyday in every way.
